The staff of the State Enterprise “Precision Electromechanical Plant” took part in a Minsk Region motor rally and the “If We Are United” ceremonial gathering dedicated to National Unity Day.
This large-scale celebratory route brought together over 300 vehicles and five hundred participants from across the central region. The procession culminated at Dzerzhinskaya Hill—the highest geographical point in Belarus.
The main festivities took place at the “Flag of the Motherland” architectural monument. The rally opened with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus.
Alexander Kokhan, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus and Inspector for the Minsk Region, addressed the gathering as the event’s guest of honor. In his speech, he emphasized the profound historical significance of September 17, 1939—the date when the Belarusian people were reunited within the borders of a single republic.
“We have learned the lessons of history. We cherish the memory of how important it is to safeguard our home, our culture, our traditions, and our right to determine our own destiny. Together, we are a powerful, indomitable force looking toward the future! May National Unity Day strengthen in each of us a sense of responsibility for our Motherland,” noted Alexander Kokhan.
The event concluded spectacularly with the release of red and green smoke—the colors of the national flag. This moment served as a vivid symbol of peace, constructive endeavor, and the unbreakable unity of the Belarusian people.
