From May 15 to 17, the XXIX scientific and practical conference “Comprehensive Information Security” is being held in St. Petersburg, organized by the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. At the event with the participation of famous scientists, union parliamentarians, experts, representatives of information security structures, the official policy of the two states in the field of ensuring their information security is discussed, and an exchange of experience, technologies and solutions will take place.
“Information security issues are the most important part of the functioning of any state, any institution, especially a complex of institutions. This concerns all issues of activity within the state, this concerns issues of industrial development, and information security issues, and the information that circulates in networks,” said Deputy State Secretary of the Union State Alexey Kubrin, opening the event. He called ensuring the protection of information from cyber attacks the most important component. The Deputy State Secretary of the Union State recalled that a lot of work on developing information security mechanisms is also being done within the Union State.
